Vehicle overturns, crashes into house in VB; serious injuries reported

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — All of the passengers in a vehicle that overturned and hit a home on S. Parliament Drive in Virginia Beach have at least serious injuries, police say.

Beach police didn’t clarify how many people were in the vehicle at the time, but say all of the passengers have injuries considered very serious, and one passenger has life-threatening wounds.

The crash happened around 6:10 p.m. in the 200 block of S. Parliament Drive. Speed may have been a factor, police say, and the 200 block of S. Parliament will be closed for the next two hours.

Police didn’t confirm whether anyone was inside the home at the time.
